North Central Montana AHEC is hosted by the Montana Hospital Association in Helena, MT. The mission of the Montana Area Health Education Center is to recruit, train, and retain a health professions work force committed to rural and underserved populations. We work to connect students to healthcare careers, professionals to communities, and communities to better health.
The North Central Montana AHEC works to address our beautiful state’s healthcare workforce shortage from the ground up. We strive to create a “home-grown” workforce and increase access to quality healthcare across Montana.
With the ever-decreasing amount of federal and state funding, our office and efforts are dependent on community support. If you would like to donate to our cause, please feel free to do so.
